Obituary of Serita Anderson

It is with great sadness that we mourn the passing of Serita Anderson of Kalamazoo, MI. Serita returned home to our heavenly father on December 7, 2021. Serita Anderson was born on May 30, 1961 in Chicago Heights, IL to her parents Willie B. and Irene Anderson. Serita was the seventh child of eight siblings. She moved to Kalamazoo, MI in 1996 where she spent most of her time with her Husband Phillip Miller and a host of friends. Serita was a loving Wife, Mother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin and Friend. She loved to cook and eat. She was the best cook. She also loved spending time with her family and friends. She had the biggest smile and heart. Serita is preceded in death by her brother, parents, her son, Phillip Jajuan Miller. Serita is survived by Phillip Miller, Sr (Husband), grandson Jaiden Jerome Miller. Those who are also left to cherish her memory are Phyllis Chambers, Gail Anderson, Elaine Herrenschmidt, Vicki Anderson (Sisters), Larry Anderson, Reynard Anderson (Brothers) and a host of Nephews, Nieces, Cousins and Friends. Serita was fun and loving. She will be missed and forever loved by her family and friends.
