I was very sorry to learn that Lou had passed away.. Rogers City was a small, closely knit community. She was a beacon to me when I went off to Michigan. If Lou can do it I can do it too. Her grandfather had ministered to several generations of Paulys, Schaedigs, Radkas and Breges. Her mother Nola was both my 3rd and 4th grade teacher. I remember that she talked funny--her Missippi accent. Lou's father Donald drove us to Alpena to the orthodontist in the winter when he wasn't sailing. And Mac was in our neighborhood games. Could these attachments to the Monroes be any closer? I'll miss seeing Lou. Feelings of joy for knowing her replace my sadness.

I am so very saddened to hear of the news of Donna's passing. When I worked at Langeland Funeral Homes and at Joldersma & Klein Funeral Home, Donna would always ask me how my work was going. She was the type of person who genuinely was interested in how other people were doing... what was going on their lives and families.... she was AWESOME!
I ran into Donna on several occasions over the past few years. She always had a hug for me and a smile on her face. She was one of my very favorite human beings on earth. God speed sweet lady!

To the family and friends of Dr. Donna Ritter always cherish the fond memories of time spent together and although you may grieve the Bible can be a source of comfort. At (Revelation 21:3,4) it speaks of a time when there will be no more sickness or death, also at (Acts 24:15) it speaks of a resurrection that we all can look forward to. May the peace and love of the God of all comfort be with you all. Comfort can be found in our Creator through prayer and through his word the Bible and in Jesus Christ.

Dear Mr Ritter, Jeff, Matt and families, our deepest sympathy in the loss of Dr Ritter , wife, mom and grandmother. Touching the lives of so many children throughout her life certainly leaves the world a better place . Lou was so kind and caring and many were the recipients of her generosity in her needlework , including my children . It was my good fortune to have known Dr Ritter -a genuinely wonderful person.
