Obituary of Marie B. Beamon

Marie's life Journey Marie B. Beamon passed away on Saturday, August 21st, 2021, at Rose Arbor Hospice. Marie was born June 29th, 1929, in Midnight, Mississippi. She was the youngest of her siblings. Marie retired from the State Hospital in December of 1988, where she worked as a Certified Nurse Assistant. Marie married Joe Beamon, and they had a daughter Joanne Beamon in March of 1953. Marie was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt. She attended the Catholic Church St. Augustine in Kalamazoo, MI. Marie enjoyed bowling and has many trophies to show how good of a bowler she was. Marie had a beautiful rose garden that grew in her front yard. She was also an avid seamstress; Marie made many hats, scarves, and even her daughters' wedding dresses. She was a very strong and intelligent woman. If you ever went by her house, you would definitely get a good life lesson. Marie did lots of traveling and loved taking pictures. If you ever needed a photo of someone in the family, she was sure to have one! She was preceded in death by (mother) Virginia, (father) Amos, (brother) Robert, (sisters) Prince and Charlie May, and (grandson) Micheal. Marie leaves to cherish one daughter Joanne Hackett. Also, a host of nieces and a nephew, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her. Her memories will live on forever in our lives!
