Our family is so blessed to have experienced my grandfather for nearly 92 years. Praise God! He was never a man of many words, but his presence was heard, felt, respected, and appreciated. He was a cowboy at heart- he loved his westerns! My grandfather could fix anything, or at least that's how I saw it since I was a little girl. I always felt comfort in his silence, and peace in his protection each time I sat with my grandfather. He had a most beautiful smile, and a great sense of humor. :) He's with the love of his life now (my grandmama), enjoying her wit, sass, and love... he's probably watching his westerns and eating a plate of her amazing black-eyed peas and cornbread. Missing my grandad... Grateful for our memories.
