Obituary of Julius Leander Robinson

Mr. Julius Leander Robinson was born in Summit Mississippi on July 16, 1949. He was the son of Julius Leander Robinson and Georgia Mae Gordon, Julius lived in Mississippi and then moved to New Orleans Louisiana where he attended school and earned his GED. His career included a variety of jobs prior to his move to Kalamazoo Michigan in the early seventies. Upon arrival in Kalamazoo Julius was employed by the city of Kalamazoo. Following that, Julius entered the field of construction where he spent most of his working life. He continued working until illness caused him to retire. Julius is survived by Delores Bishop and his 8 children: Kamisha, Kim, Julius Jr., Carnell, Brandon, Saquina Julian, and Xavier. He was an incredibly good and caring Father. Other surviving relatives including his sister Linda, and his brothers Ray, Louis, Michael, and Derrick, as well as his aunt Emma and numerous grandchildren and cousins, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Julius was active in Galilee Baptist church in Kalamazoo, where he sang in the choir and volunteered his time to help others. Julius departed this earth on May 18, 2021 and will find everlasting peace in heaven. We will never stop loving him and will miss him forever.
