Douglas Charles Woodard departed this life May 15, 2021. Douglas was born March 11, 1959, in Scotts, Mississippi. He graduated from Kalamazoo Central High School. He was employed by Murco (JBS) in Plainwell, Michigan. He was also employed by Jim Robinson Construction; Denso Manufacturing in Battle Creek, MI. and I.T. Stanley in Marshall, Ml. Douglas had a passion for cooking, and he loved cars. He leaves to cherish his mother, Clara Woodard; 1 brother Tyrone Woodard; 1 nephew Lawrence Fisher; 2 great nephews Jahleel and Joaquim; 1 uncle Steve Woodard of Kalamazoo, MI; 5 aunts: Ollie, Sarah, Jacqueline and Elaine all of Kalamazoo; and Cloteia of Scotts, Mississippi; A host of cousins and 2 special friends: Dennis and Jesse Williams. Douglas is preceded in death by 1 brother: David Woodard as well as his grandmother and grandfather.
