Obituary of Arnold Carl Baker

Arnold C. Baker was born on February 5, 1940 to James and Lina Baker, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Arnold was one of nine children. Arnold was a member of Allen Chapel A.M.E. Church. He retired from Consumer after 30 years of service. Arnold was preceded in death by his parents, James and Lina Baker, Brothers: Lawrence Phillips, James E. Phillips, Harold C. Phillips, George P. Phillips, Walter A. Baker and one sister Dorothy B Hughes. From the union of Arnold and Barbara Horton were born three sons. From the long-term relationship with Arnold and Dorothy Bowden were born three daughters and one son. Arnold is survived by his two brothers: Wallace A. (Elizabeth) Baker, Sr. of Kalamazoo, MI, and Lyle S. (Thedosha) Baker, Sr. of Detroit, Michigan. His four sons and three daughters: Arnie (Lateresa) Baker of Holt, MI, D’Andre (Donna) Baker of Papillion, NE, Scott (Jackie) Baker of Lansing, MI, Monica Bowden, Perry Bowden, Carla (Claude) Little of Kalamazoo, MI and Cynthia (Mark) Waller of Lawrenceville, GA. Special friend Tracy Callington and one adopted son Shavon Boyd of Kalamazoo, MI: a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces , nephews, cousins and friends.
