Obituary of Robert Richardson, Jr.

Mr. Robert" 24" Richardson Jr., departed this life on November 29, 2020, in Kalamazoo, Michigan. On July 9, 1990, he was born in Oakland, CA., to his parents, Robert "24" Richardson, Sr. and Sandra Gail. Robert" 24" Jr. attended Kalamazoo Central High School. He later enrolled in the police academy in which he completed. Robert went on to work several jobs throughout his life. He was very hands-on and skilled. Robert worked various jobs from roofing to the most straightforward task of planting flowers. He loved spending time with his family and friends. Robert also loved playing video games with his son. Robert was a huge Lakers fan, and he shared a special connection with his favorite basketball player Kobe Bryant because they both shared the same unique number, "24", which was his nickname. Robert also enjoyed playing and watching basketball and baseball. Robert "24" Jr. was preceded in death by both of his grandparents, James Richardson and Maude Martin; his aunt Jeanette Johnson; two of his closes friends: Joe Jackson" Pank" and Romedy Hunter" Riggz," his favorite dog Karma; and Kobe Bryant, his favorite basketball player. Robert leaves to cherish his memory forever, his father Robert J. "24" Richardson, Sr.; two sons: Shamarion Stephens of Chicago, IL., and Zymir Richardson of Kalamazoo, MI; his daughter Trinity Washington of Kalamazoo, MI.; one brother Chauncey Allen of Kalamazoo, MI; four nephews: Marcus and Treyton Allen, Doomonique Niles, and Johnathan Horn all of Kalamazoo, MI; two aunts: Mae O'Day of Kalamazoo, MI, and Mildred Jernigan of Augusta, GA.; his significant other Hebony Bostic; and his special friends: Bryant Leggett(B), Kenneth Williams (Kenny), Roger Williams (Roco), Markous Keys (Lipz), Dayton Morgan (Dayday), Semaj Willams (Cadillac Kidd), Dashanique Whittmore (Daisy), Step Daughter Ziya Richardson, godsons Jomarrion and Javarrius Jackson; along with a host of other family and friends. Robert "24" Jr. will continue to be loved and truly missed.
