Obituary of Alemus Floyd Davis

Alemus “Floyd” Davis departed this life on Monday, November 16, 2020. He was born in Marvell, Arkansas to Felix and Sally Davis on October 16, 1947. Alemus attended Turner Arkansas Schools. He relocated to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1970. He moved back to Arkansas where he married Catherine Bearfield in 1991. They divorced and he returned to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 1996 He was employed at Orrin B. Hayes, M and M Honda, and Floyd Brashers Auto Reconditioning. He confessed Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church in Turner, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents Felix and Sally Davis, a sister Sadie Lavern, and her husband Willie Gen Thomas, three brothers Leon Davis. James Brewser, James Calhoun, and a nephew Victor Simone Davis. He leaves to cherish his memory: His daughter, Theresa (Leslie) Jones, a son Rodney (Betty Jo) Brewer, one brother Larry (Regina) Davis, one sister in law Olivia Calhoun. Eight grandchildren, Delvin and Emone Jones, Willie Mitchell, III, Joshua Brewer, Joseph Brewer, Vanessa Brewer, Nichole Brewer, and Melvin Cameron. Eleven great-grandchildren. A special nephew V. Jermaine Davis and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
