Obituary of Ivan Louis Hammel

Mr. Ivan Louis Hammel was born February 16, 1948 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to William W. and Izola O. Hammel. He served faithful in the US Army during the Vietnam Conflict during the 1960’s serving as a medic. Ivan was stationed in Germany while in the military. He was a police officer in the states of California, Arkansas, and Louisiana with 30 plus years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Izola Hammel, his brothers Raymond E. Hodge and Norman H. Hammel. He is survived by his children, Yvonne, Kimberly, William, Patrick, Katherine, Noah, Nelson, Ivan Jr., and Mary Beth one sister Janice Delatte and her husband Douglas Delatte. He has a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
