Obituary of Glenda Susan Johnson

Glenda Susan Johnson (née Spencer) was born in Kalamazoo, MI on Feb 6, 1949, at 3:41 am to Frank and Sarah (Daniel) Spencer, both of whom precedes her in death. She was the fourth of seven children, four of who also precedes her in death (Rockey, Shirley, Frank Rickey, and Cathy) and survived by two, Danny and Brenda. Glenda originally came to Detroit with a friend for summer vacation but stayed when she started working at Chrysler. When her division was sold, she transferred over to General Dynamics, where she work for over 30 years. While there making many friends and memories, including joining the Tiger's Fan Club and being the Cookie Mom several years for the Girl Scouts. She had a big heart and was always ready for a hug or a word of advice. People would remember her advice years later and oftentimes still stop by to for a warm embrace and more advice. She loved freely and with gusto, and never had a problem showing it. On June 26, 2020, at 4:37 pm she leaves behind not only two siblings but her two children; Kevin and Bianca Johnson, many nieces and nephews, and thought she had no natural grandchildren she was known to several as Grandma Johnson. Because once she accepted you into her life she treated you like family.
