Obituary of Franklin Hinds

Franklin Lavoid Hinds 85 of Plainwell, MI passed away on Monday, June 22, 2020. Frank was born in Truman, AK., on October 21, 1934 to Sam and Lela (Fuller) Hinds. Frank served his country in the Air Force as a Lab Technician. On June 25, 1965, he married the love of his life, Rita Ann Knapp. Together they had 7 children. Frank liked to play cards and watch westerns on television. He loved his coffee and playing Kismet He enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Frank is survived by his sister V. Inise Crawford of Del­ton, his sons Danny Pruitt of Grand Rapids. Jim (Sally) Pruitt of Plainwell, Richard (Amy) Hinds of Plainwell; daughters Robin (Michael) Wyatt of Battle Creek, Tracy Short of Plainwell. Frank is preceded in death by his parents. brothers Everett, Murlia Hinds; sisters Louise Bucknell, Hazel Harrington: his beloved wife Rita Hinds: sons Tommy and Bobby Pruitt. Frank was a very much-loved father, grandfather and great-grandfather. A Time of Remembrance to be announced.
