Mrs. Marjorie Berta-Frances Smith-Woodson was born Friday, April 25, 1930, to Jake Smith, Sr. and Lola B. Collier in Tupelo, Mississippi. She later relocated to Kalamazoo, Michigan where she united with The Church of God Pentecostal where Bishop Lafayette Davis served as Pastor.
