Obituary of Birletta Mae Bean-Hardman
Birleta Mae Bean-Hardeman (Tweety) was born November 22, 1957 in Kalamazoo MI to Jeff and Fannie Bean. She departed this life on May 6, 2020 while a patient at Bronson Battle Creek Hospital.
Birleta attended Kalamazoo Public Schools, and Galilee Baptist Church where she served on the janitorial staff. She was employed by Wholesale Tires. She enjoyed interior decorating, traveling, shopping and spending time with her godchildren. Her passion was in lending a helping hand and advocating for the less fortunate in her community.
She leaves to cherish her memories son Steven R. Bean of Massachusetts sisters Birdena Washington, Jeffrey Ann Smith of Georgia; grandson Jalen Coleman, Kalamazoo MI; granddaughter Crystal Goulet, Massachusetts; god sister Donna Cage Edom, Alabama; goddaughters Donleta Phipps, Jasmine Cage of Chicago, IL, Shadae Poindexter, of Iowa; special friend Karl White of Kalamazoo, MI; nieces; Lakeysha Sehy, Kalamazoo MI, Shi-Ne’ Bean, Katrina Bean of Georgia; nephews William, Larry and Shondell Bean of Kalamazoo MI, Mark Holland, of Texas, CharlesCurtis Sanders of CA and a host of other relatives and close friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother Charles Bean, sister Tonetha Bean, son Terrill Bean, aunt Dessie Mae Gray and uncles Clarence and A.D. Jennings.
