Obituary of Floradel Walker

Floradel Walker, a resident of Mount Clemens, Michigan, passed away Monday, April 20, 2020 at the age of 66. She was born in Racine, Wisconsin to the late Alex Walker, Sr. and Luddie Buchanan Walker. Flo worked for AT&T as a telephone operator for over 32 years. At home, she was a gifted seamstress, making all three of her daughters’ prom dresses from scratch. Her taste in fashion, style, and shopping defined her. Her church home was Winners Circle of Mt. Clemens, where she developed deep faith and a love for Gospel music. Her bright smile could always light up any room. She is survived by her daughters Benita (David) Bratley, Dakita Plant, and Charrika (Cortez) Betts, grandchildren Tyreik, Jaylin, Marcelle, Nicolette, Donovan, and Jeremiah, aunt Mary Louise Walker, godchildren Charles Adside III and Retisha Lockett, siblings Cloteria Bobo, Luadah Stanfield, Arthur Walker, Charles Walker, Rubynell (Donald) Barbee, David Walker, Jeanetta Walker, Terri Walker, Carolyn Walker, Sheila Walker, and Sharon Walker. Besides her parents, Flo was preceded in death by her siblings Lela Moore, Alex Walker, and Mary Walker. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Harold W.
