Obituary of Janette Helen Nichols

Ms. Janette H. Nichols peacefully departed this life on Friday, April 17, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Janette was born on June 20, 1948 to Robert Homburg and Shirley Reed in Detroit, Michigan. Janette was employed at Norge Village Dry Cleaners and Parker Hannifin before retiring from Park Place Assisted Living Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan after 20 years of dedicated service. Janette loved her grandchildren who called her Granny as well as Granny "Net Net". There are many extended family members who loved her unconditionally as well. She was a beautiful and caring person who was always willing to lend a helping hand to everyone that she met. Ms. Janette H. Nichols is preceded in death by her sisters Beverly I. Baskins and Karen Dalaney. Ms. Janette H. Nichols leaves the following to cherish her memory: Five beautiful children; Jonathon B. Price of Kalamazoo MI, Terry L. Ford of Richmond VA, Elizabeth J. Lester (Torey) of Grand Rapids MI, Hannah N. Nichols of Portage MI, and Timothy H. Nichols, Sr. of Kalamazoo MI. Her siblings; One very special sister, Patricia Henderson of Kalamazoo MI. Two loving brothers: Robert Dust of West Branch MI and Rick Price of Lansing Ml. Fifteen Grandchildren: Jashawn D. Price of Richmond VA, Stephanie L. Scurry of Grand Rapids MI, James J. Scurry of Wyoming MI, Teresa M. Price-Ford of Richmond VA, Maurice A. Harris, Jr. of Columbus OH, Damario us L. Price of Kalamazoo MI, Tonie L. Ford of Beltsville MD, Jontarious D. Scurry of Grand Rapids MI, Marcus M. Harris of Columbus OH, Ty'ziasia M. Sanchez-Nichols of Kalamazoo MI, Tishon M. Sanchez (who is proudly serving in the United States Army), Timothy H. Nichols, Jr. of Kalamazoo MI, Brianna N. Harris of Portage MI, Princeiria V. Nichols of Kalamazoo MI and Ty'Mar Nichols of Kalamazoo Ml. As well as a host of loving Great Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, friends and a special friend and co-worker, Shonte Gardner of Kalamazoo MI.
