Obituary of Joy Dean Ray

In Loving Memory of Mrs. Joy Dean Murray-Ray. Joy Dean Murray-Ray was given birth by her parents Odies and Maudine Murray on February, 13th 1961. She gained her wings April, 7th 2020 at the age of 59 years old. Joy was a very happy, loving, caring, compassionate woman who loved dancing, cooking, singing and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She attended Loy Norrix High School and then attended Old Central High School where she obtained her G.E.D. Joy worked in the healthcare field and factories but her most cherished occupation was taking care of her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Odies and Maudine Murray of Kalamazoo, brother Otis Murray Jr. of Kalamazoo, brother Kevin Murray of Kalamazoo and sister Queen Smith of Kalamazoo. She leaves behind her husband Angelo Ray of Kalamazoo and six beautiful children Wayne Gardner of Indianapolis, Anesha Gardner of Kalamazoo, Odies Murray of Kalamazoo, Angelo Murray of California, Nexus Murray of Kalamazoo and Kalin Murray of Kalamazoo. Nan-nan has ten grandchildren whom she loves and adores Money O'Bryant, Cashay Gardner, Cameron Gardner, Antwan Langston, Journee Gardner, Cardion Gardner, Brooklyn Gardner, Aiyden Johnson, Daquavion Gardner and Nexus Murray. She has six surviving siblings Curtis and Earlene Murray of Kalamazoo, Dekent Murray of Kalamazoo, Bobby and Sue Murray of Kalamazoo, Clara Flowers of Kalamazoo, Ray and Shannon Murray of Kalamazoo, Gay Thompson of Kalamazoo. She has a host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews that she helped raise as her own children. Joy had a smile that could brighten up a room no matter what she was going through or what you were going through she always had a funny joke to tell. She will never know how much of an impact she had on so many people and how special she is. She will be truely missed, no more pain no more suffering. Love always and forever from your two special people Kaykay and Meter.
