Trey was a truly sweet and brilliant man, it's so hard to believe that he's gone. He was the kind of guy who could cheer your day without even trying. I met Trey about 25 years ago and after meeting, it was one adventure after another. One of our most fun was traipsing the shoreline of Ocean Beach towards the south, along with our friend Joe Reynolds. We walked when we could and swam when we had to for 2 or 3 hours when the tide started coming in. So, seeing a ladder, we climbed it to what proved to be a military base -and it was off limits! We were detained but not arrested (as we promised to never return). Security took our photos and gave us a ride back down the hill. We laughed about that for weeks. I'll miss you, Trey. Peace, Brother.

I was stationed with Trey in San Diego in ‘92 while attending an electronics school in the Navy. Trey was so full of life and always had that infectious smile. We lost touch afterwards and I always wondered how his life journey was going. Tonight I learned of his passing but yet I know he touched many lives for the better along the way... Godspeed Trey...

I was saddened to find Trey had left us. He was very enthusiastic about so many things and liked to have fun. He showed me some things at GE I had no idea existed and his enthusiasm about them was very infectious.

Im Chad Waldron Im John Stewart's best friend his dad was a great man when I first met him I thought he was weird but it soon came to my head that he was a fun and cool cub scout leader. Years passed and Trey lost his job. John and I tried so hard to keep him away from stressing out. John and I were in seventh grade when he passed but before he passed we all went to the Airzoo together. He really loved aircrafts. When he passed I was sad he was truly a wonderful and great man.

I met Trey back in high school many many years ago. The memories are flooding back in to me of so many great times and experiences we all had together. From teaching me to ski on hunter mountain to camping on pine mountain and let’s not forget working on his mustang. Trey would like to say people’s names backwards for example he would call me MIJ to this day still makes me smile when I think of that.
I wish I had kept in better contact over the years. I will cherish the memories you gave me Trey Thankyou for them.
Love and will miss you Jim (miJ) kelly
