Obituary of Carmen Renee Hughes

Carmen's life journey: Carmen Renee Hughes went home to be with the lord on March 27,2020. She was born in Kalamazoo mi on May 28,1973 to Herman Lampkin’s and Mildred Juanita Lipsey. Carmen confess her faith in Christ at early age. She attended Kalamazoo public schools and graduated from Plainwell high school Carmen was employed in Kalamazoo Schools as a bus driver and a CNA for many years and worked for many nursing homes she loved to dance and play cards. Carmen met her husband Sam and they had two kids one son Shaquwan Hughes and one daughter Alaysha Hughes and a stepson Samuel Hughes she preceded in death by her grandparents and brother James (Sconi). Carmen leaves to cherish her memory her mother Juanita, her father Herman, husband Samuel and the kids. Brother’s Jerry Heard (wife Brenda), Tony Pratt, Richard Pratt and Henry Pratt and Quincy Lampkins and Tony Lampkins, and a grandchild Zoe Hughes. She has a host of nephews, nieces and cousins a special friend Michelle Williams and a cousin Meka Thompson. Carmen was an amazing women who will be truly missed.
