Cornelius Loveland

Obituary of Cornelius Charles Loveland

Corey Loveland, witty, dramatic, and the ultimate devo passed on Friday, March 6th at 6:45 pm. Corey was known for his quick wit, contagious laugh, unique personality, over the top dramatics and "the look". He made it so hard to not love him even though he wasn't an affectionate person. He had a life long affair with all animals, especially the ugliest dogs. He excelled at being an amazing brother, son, nephew and friend. He loved penguins, collecting coins, collecting every item from the clearance section, online shopping and being a smartass. You could always count on him to have an Amazon box on the table, a new device or toy, cottage inn pizza boxes and squid in his refrigerator. He swore his home country was Canada and was determined to move there...even though he had never been. He was fond of saying " you wish you looked like this" and "speaking the truth". Corey wasn't big into fashion. He liked what he liked. His signature look was; an over-sized t-shirt, grey zip-up hoodie, jeans, and tennis shoes. He enjoyed his job at KPH where he gained many close friends and a best friend. Antonio, Tony, Kathy, Christina, many others and best friend Heather. Corey was known for his trickster ways and always laughing at someone or something but don't you dare laugh at him. You would get "the look". When Corey went to be with his Dad, he left behind 2 of his favorite people. They were parents, guardians, friends, and siblings. They filled every role. Travis and Katrina Mitchell or as he would call them, "T & T", His little brother, confidant, boy best friend, travel partner, late-night DD, Jordan Mitchell, big sister Cathy (Tasha) Hartwell who adored him, looked up to him and babied him; big brother Herbie Loveland who always looked to him for approval and strength, Three beautiful little sisters; Sarah, Crystal and Demi, Special best friend Heather Baas and a host of family and friends. He also left behind two furbabies that loved him dearly. His baby Sadie and fur-niece Trixie.
