Obituary of Edward Edmonson Edwards

In loving Memory Of Edward E Edwards (77) Passed away February 27th at 3:52 p.m. at Borgess Hospital. He was born August 20th 1942 in Willard, Missouri by Wade Hampton Edwards and Jessie Evelyn Sheppard. Edward was 1 of 6 Pre-deceased brothers Joe D Edwards, Bob L Edwards, Morris H Edwards of Independence, Missouri. Jack W Edwards and Larry W Edwards of Kalamazoo, Michigan. Also he had 2 pre-deceased sisters, Evelyn S Marks of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Betty R Battenberg of Dallas, Texas. 3 surviving sisters Mary L Hendrichsen, Dorthy C Cronen and Carol J Melson in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Also 2 surviving brother In Laws Greg Cronen and Terry Melson of Kalamazoo, Michigan. He resided in Portage, Michigan with his loving wife of 48 years Deanna M Daniels-Edwards. Edward had 2 children from a previous marriage Vernon L Edwards and Laurie A Griffith from Kalamazoo, Mi and 2 children with current wife Paul J Edwards and Rebecca L Edwards from Portage, Mi. He also had 14 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren And Many nieces + nephews. Edward was a simple man, family man, and an outdoors man. He loved fishing, arrow head hunting, playing guitar, singing and hunting. He worked for McLear Oil as a delivery driver untill he was diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis and disabled in 1991. Services will be held Saturday March 21st, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Kalamazoo Missionary Church, 5045 E. Michigan Ave followed by memorable celebration with food and drinks.
