Obituary of Harold Trent Moss

Harold Trent Moss, A.K.A. “Moon”, son of the late Dan and Bessie Moss, born July 5, 1958 in Battle Creek, MI departed this life on Tuesday, February 4, 2020 at Glen Arbor Hospice, Battle Creek, with his wife and family by his side. He attended Battle Creek Public Schools and united with Upton Avenue Original Church of God at an early age under the leadership of Bishop Harold Speights. He later united with First Pentecostal Church under Pastor Elmer Hess Sr. Throughout Harold's life, he assisted others with driving long distances. Harold also painted for (Roswell) Pitman Painting and others, performed odd jobs for Percy Bean and others. He loved grilling/cooking and was a people person. He enjoyed family gatherings, friends, playing domino's, throwing dice, and watching old television shows. On July 5, 2013, Harold married his long-time companion, Michelle Shufford. They had no children, but were care takers to many. Harold was preceded in death by his parents, Dan and Bessie Moss. He leaves to cherish his memory, wife, Michelle, brothers, Danny (Sharon), Alvin (Jean) of Battle Creek, Kenneth, San Diego, California; sisters, Virginia Gulley, Falcon, Arkansas, Rosalinda (Dorcey) Moore, Ypsilanti, MI; special aunt; Patsy Holmes, cousin; Carl Watson, and a host of nieces, nephews and relatives. .
