Obituary of Isaac Okwuchwu Dike
Isaac Okwuchukwu Dike was born on the 10th of July 1955 to late George 0. Dike and Dora A. Dike in Awka,
Anambra State, Nigeria.
Isaac was the fifth child of six children. He started his primary education at the famous Government school Awka
and on completion of his primary school studies; he gained admission into Igwebuike secondary school Awka where
he obtained his high school certificate in the year 1974.
To obtain his college degree he left the shores of Nigeria in the year 1977 to pursue his first degree in economics in
Clarion State University Ohio USA, After his first year, he relocated to Grand Rapids, Michigan to join his immediate
senior sister Adaora Iwuagwu and her late husband Barth Iwuagwu to complete his college education.
On arrival at Grand Rapids, Michigan, he transferred his grades to a junior college and upon completion of his studies;
he moved to Aquinas College Grand rapids, Michigan and obtained a BS degree in Economics.
Isaac was married with stepchildren and then eventually relocated to Portage, MI marriage ended in divorce. His nieces,
Ndidi and Ifeoma Iwuagwu also had the opportunity to live with him while they attended college in Kalamazoo, Michigan.
Three sisters (Mrs. Ifeoma Ohiaeri, Mrs. Chinwe Green and Mrs. Adaora Iwuagwu) and one brother (Mr. Daniel Dike) who had the
luxury of being reunited with him during a visit to the USA in August 2019 survive Isaac.
Many half-sisters, brother, Cousins, nieces and nephews also survived him, a memorial service in his honor will be held on 06 Feb 2020.
