Obituary of Stephen Andrew Drob

Stephen A. Drob (age 73) passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17th, 2020 at home. He was born on November 25th, 1946, in Harrisburg PA, to Stephen and Jean Drob. In 1965 he joined the air force and started his travels. While in his travels he met the love of his life, Lynda on a train. On August 6, 1966, in New Lenox Illionois they were married and started their life together. They then had 2 children, as a family, they loved to camp, bowl, and go watch the drag races. He always adored his family and as the grandchildren came, he fell even more in love with his family. He is survived by 2 daughters, Dawn and Tracy (Al), 3 grandchildren, Jessica, Justin and Taylor along with 8 great-grandkids. Poppy was loved greatly and will be missed dearly. In Dad's most famous words “What’s in the bowl bitch!” will never be forgotten. Funeral services will be held at Whitley’s funeral home. A luncheon following services will be held at Eastland Bowl on the corner of Gull Rd and Sprinkle.
