In Loving Memory of Mr. Victor Simone Davis
Victor was born on January 6, 1968 to the late Juanita Miller and Larry Davis in Clarendon, Arkansas.
Victor departed this life on January 8, 2020. Victor graduated from Clarendon High School in 1986, where he participated in sports and excelled in Basketball and Football. He also attended classes at the University of Central Arkansas.
Victor was a member of Union Baptist Church in Clarendon, Arkansas. His last membership was at Bible Baptist Church in Kalamazoo, MI.
Victor was formerly employed by Taplin Group, and currently employed by Jakobson Management Company as a Maintenance Technician. Victor also has a degree in carpentry and as an electrician with experience in home renovation. He enjoyed cooking, eating, listening to the blues and old school music.
Victor relocated to Kalamazoo, Michigan in 2001, where he met the mother of his daughter, the late Jessica Elizabeth Cory.
He was preceded in death by his Mom, Juanita Miller, Grandparents Felix and Sally Davis, and Ernestine Miller, Aunt Sadie Thomas, Uncles Leon Davis, and James Miller “Cootie”.

Brothers Danny Miller of Gary, Indiana, Willie Davis of Chicago, IL, Jermaine Davis of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Lavare (Nicole) Eason of Orlando, Florida, and Christopher Davis and William Davis of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Brittani Davis of Portland, Oregon; Johnathan McBride “Pep”, and Otis McBride “Kelly” of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
A special Uncle Floyd Davis, three aunts: Shirley Robinson, Delores Washington, and Eleanor Thompson. His former wife Kira (Shay) Hobbs-Davis, and a friend Eboni Weddington.
He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
