Obituary of Suzette Ann Smith

On December 6 th , our beloved sister, aunt, cousin and friend transitioned from this life suddenly at Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, Michigan and took her final flight to eternal life.  Suzette Smith was born May 26, 1964 in Holly Bluff, Mississippi. She attended Loy Norrix High School in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Suzette was known by many affectionate names such as “Cynthia” and “Cimp”. She was baptized at an early age at Second Baptist Church.

Cimp was a free spirit, she loved her family, her dogs and loved to have fun.

Cimp was preceded in death by her parents Eligah and Janie Smith; grand parents Willie &; Savannah Berry; sisters Mary (Precious) Smith, Ida Jean Smith, Georgia Mae Smith, brother Eligah (Smitty) Smith, Jr., and the love her life, Robert McPherson.

Cimp loved and treasured by her family and friends, she will be remembered in the hearts of her five sisters, Janie, Linda (Phil), Patricia (Johnnie) Davis, Jenny (Paul) all of Kalamazoo, Mi; Mary (Flozial) Hall, of Albany, Ga; one brother, Willie (Dorothy) Smith of Kalamazoo, MI; and Brother-in-law; Napoleon Price. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
