Obituary of Odie B. Davis

It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Odie “B” Davis. B departed this life at Rose Arbor Hospice Care surrounded by his daughter and son-in-law after a lengthy illness. He has resided in Portage, MI for the last four years in the care of his daughter, Sharon and son-n-law Doug. Union City, TN was his home.

He is survived by his daughters; Sharon Kingston, Latrice Wright, son-in-law; Doug Kingston, grandchildren; Marissa, Tyriq, Lawsen, Tiffany, and Shilah, three great-grandchildren, Jazmyne, Ashleigh, and Bianca, brothers; Sam Agnew and Sonny Davis. He also leaves to mourn his best friend for over 60 years, Eugene Coleman, a host of nieces, nephews and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife; Alice Faye Davis, previous wife, Mary Elizabeth Davis; father and mother; Robert and Oma Davis and sister Omie Harper(Charles).

Arrangements will be in his hometown, Union City, TN at a later date.
