Obituary of Nathaneal Jones

Nathaneal Jones passed away peacefully Friday October 11, 2019 at Penfield Premier Assisted Living Facility at the age of 77.   His life began September 16, 1942 in Toomsuba, MS. His parents were Annie M. (Lofton) Jones and John Jones. He attended Stevenson High School in Mississippi.

He married Betty (Walker) Jones in the early 1960's. They were married many years before she preceded him in death. He later married Gwen Redd who presently lives in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He came to live in Battle Creek in 2012.

'Nate' enjoyed working on cars and selling them. He also loved fishing, cooking, and watching sports. He also very much enjoyed being a part of the Senior Care Partners Pace Program here in Battle Creek.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Annie Jones. His brothers John Daniel and Josiah Jones. His sisters Pauline Jones and Rannie Mae Jones.

He is survived and will be greatly missed by his sisters Lula B. Prince of Battle Creek, MI; Elizabeth (Ronald) Lee of Toledo, Ohio; and Johnnie Kate (Leon) McDuffy of South Carolina and many nieces and nephews.
