Obituary of Bennie Lee Singleton, Sr.

Mr. Bennie Singleton Sr. was born January 1, 1936 in Moorhead, Mississippi he was the son of Mr. Jimmie & Emma Lee Singleton Sr. The Singleton family relocated to Kalamazoo, Michigan in the Sixties. Bennies favorite car was the Electra 225.

Bennie Singleton moved from Kalamazoo to Chicago Illinois where he met and married his wife Mrs. Fannie Mae Singleton. Out of that union came two children, Bennie Singleton Jr. and Sheri Ann Singleton. Bennie went on to Father 8 more children. Nanette Hickman of Kalamazoo, Darnell Williams of Detroit, Monica Singleton of Kalamazoo, Sheila Pratt of Kalamazoo, Benjamin Nabors of Kalamazoo, Lorenzo Williams of Detroit and Bernard Wogoman of Kalamazoo.

Bennie Singleton Sr. Passed away on June 18, 2019 at Rose Arbor. He is proceeded in death by his parents Jimmie Sr/Emma Lee Singleton. Siblings  Katie, David, Wiilie (SiS), Roosevelt, Jimmie Jr. and Estelle Young.

Bennie Singleton Sr. Leaves to cherish his memory 1 brother Mr. Richard Singleton and Mary Calvin of Kalamazoo along with his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins  and a host of nieces and nephews.
