Obituary of Maria Eileen Houser

Marie Eileen Houser at the age of 48, passed away Sunday, June 16, 2019. Maria was born April, 14, 1971 in Kalamazoo, Michigan. She is preceded in death by her parents Sharon Kay Silva, Donald Allen Houser and her step father Julian Silva Jr. Maria graduated High School in June, 1990 she was a selfless, outgoing individual, who would unselfishly give to others. She later furthered her life working in manufacturing, as a laborer. Maria always wanted to be a teacher but was caught in the mists of life raising her four children, as a single mother. She adored her grandchildren whom she often said were her pride and joy. Maria is survived today by her children Daniel Carter, Christina Carter, Alyssa Houser, and Devon Houser, her grandchildren SayAnnah Carter, Damihr Carter, KhyLen Carter, Devondre Phipps-Houser, and NyhArii Atkinson-Carter, her siblings Edward Hughes, Pamela London, Ray McEwen, Kimberly Houser-Bennett, Julian Silva III, and Fawn Tanney, a brother-in- law Charles Bennett, two sister-in-laws Nicole Ehrmann, and Kathy Hughes, an aunt Sally Rodriguez, as well as several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held from 1:30-5:00pm on Friday, June 21, 2019 at Milwood Community Church 3306 Lovers Ln, Kalamazoo, Michigan.
