Obituary of Ronald Kim Rix

Ronald K. Rix age 62, passed away on May 21, 2019 at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, Michigan.  Ron was born on July 19, 1956 in Kalamazoo the only son of Betty (Eggleston) Rix, and Gerald Rix, both deceased.  Ron was preceded in death by his only sister, Sherry.

Surviving are many cousins, multiple friends, and a special friend, Mia Phillips.

Ron was dedicated employee at Humphrey Products in Kalamazoo for over 40 years.

Ron was a loyal friend to many, and his absence will leave an empty space in the hearts of those who knew and love him.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 2:00 p.m.  at the First Baptist Church in Lawton, Michigan located on the corner of 3^rd and Nursery Street.  Cremation has taken place and burial will be at the family burial sight at Maple Grove Cemetery in Mattawan, Michigan. 

In memory of Ron’s love for animals, contributions may be made to the ASPC of Kalamazoo, another animal shelter or a charity of one’s choice.
