Obituary of Shontte Antwon Johnson

Shontte Antwon Johnson, age 42, passed away Tuesday, May 21, 2019.  Shontte was born August 4, 1976 in Battle Creek, Michigan to Sandra Mae Johnson and George Dorian Williams.

Shon graduated High School in 1995 and continued his education at Baker College.  Shon enjoyed cooking and utilized those skills while working at Chili’s, Applebee’s and Don Pablos.  Shontte accepted Jesus as his Savior at an early age.

He leaves to cherish the love of his life Gillian Pratt, his children Termarien Gray, Savanna Johnson and Sandra Mae Johnson, sister Janaya Johnson, nephew Xavion Poindexter, Grandmother Lucille Johnson, special father Prince Collins and a host of Aunts, Uncles and cousins. Shon is preceded in death by his mother in April of 1991 and his father September of 2018.

Shon was most proud of being a father, in which he loved spending time with his children.  He had an amazing sense of humor and he could brighten a room with his laugh, smile and funny jokes.  He was known for his love of old school R&B music. Shontte was kind, generous and full of life. To know him was to love him.
