Obituary of Mitchell Lee Guy

Mitchell Lee Guy 60 years old made his transition from life to eternal rest on Thursday, April 4, 2019. 

Mitchell was born October 4, 1958, to the union of Matthew & Shirley Guy in Battle Creek Michigan.

He graduated from Battle Creek Central High School and later met and married Charlesetta Conley in 1987, she passed away in 2001. 

Mitchell met Belinda Smith and married her in 2006. He worked for Calhoun County Medical Pennfield Home, Robert's Packaging, and Adient. 

Mitchell's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him understand that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives.

Mitchell brought so much joy to the lives of those around him, he was a fun, loving, but stern man. Mitchell loved to play cards and dominoes. He also enjoyed playing basketball and shooting pool. Mitchell loved spending time with his family, watching TV and new movies. He especially enjoyed watching Marvel Movies with his nephew "Honorary son" Matthew Guy.

Mitchell was a wonderful man that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished. 

Mitchell leaves to cherish his memory: his wife Belinda Guy; daughters: Ashambi (Stephanie) Guy, Felicia (James) Lucus, and Stephanie Smith; sons: Mitchell (Jasmine) Jones, Victor (Amanda) Conley, and Richard Smith; grandkids: Ashambi Guy II, Elijah, Jayla, Keywann, Victor Amber, Brittany (Lamont) Robinson, Brandon, Elijah, Havyn, Kaden, Kim, and Kenneth; his brothers: Mark Guy, Michael Guy, and Steven Gregory; sisters: Brenda Riddle and Jackie Turner; along with a host of great-grandkids, nieces and nephews, Whom all Loved him dearly. 

Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents Matthew and Shirley Guy, his brothers Marvin and Matthew Guy, and a special uncle Governor Guy.

Although Mitchell has departed from this life, he will live on in our hearts forever.
