Obituary of Russell Edward Hubbert

Russell E. Hubbert 75 of Battle Creek ,Mi. passed away Jan. 3, 2019 at home.

After cremation, Memorial and interment will take place at Fort Custer National Cemetery at a future date. 

Russ, as he was known, was born in Sault St. Maria on Aug. 15, 1943 to Marion Egerton Hubbert and Earl Hubbert.

He attended Hastings High School and served in the U.S. Army after graduation.

He was employed with Canadian National Railroad in communications. He retired in 2004 after which he enjoyed woodworking, making hand made items for others.

He was proceeded in death by his parents and brothers Clarence, John and George Hubbert.

Russ is survived by his wife of 33 years Cynthia (Cindy) Hubbert. Brother David (Donna) Hubbert, Sisters Elizabeth (Al) Lancaster and Amy McGee. Sons Scott and Andrew Hubbert. Daughters Pamela and Karen Hubbert, 9 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and multiple nephews and niece and Cynthia's children Stepson Andrew(Teresa) Carmouche and Step daughter Teresa(Paul) Grosskoph  and 2 step grand daughters and 2 step great grandsons.
