Obituary of Anna Wanda Burton

Anna Burton passed away peacefully on Saturday April 21, 2018 at the age of 86 in Galesburg, MI. Ms. Burton was born on February 5, 1932 in Kalamazoo, MI the daughter of Lewis & Isabella (Mitchell) Burton. At the age of 19, she met and married Allan D. Salters on August 22, 1951, they were married for 44 years, from that union 4 children were born; Wanda, Susan, Todd & Allan Salters. Anna enjoyed sewing, cooking, gardening & being outdoors. She also enjoyed car rides thru the country with her family. Anna was a very caring, sweet person that everyone loved. Most importantly Anna loved caring for her family.

Anna was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis & Isabella Burton, husband, Allan D. Salters, daughter Susan Salters, son Todd Salters; 4 brothers, John Burton, Charles Burton Sr, Giles Burton & Allison(Al) Burton and 1 sister Hazel Burton. She leaves to cherish her memory daughter Wanda Salters of Los Angelos, CA, son Allan Salters of Galesburg, MI, 3 grandchildren; Valerie Leake (Jabari) of Kalamazoo, MI, Leslie (Wayne) Tolbert of Three Rivers, MI, Saleena Leake (Overgie) of Kalamazoo,MI. 9 great-grandchildren; Tierra, Clariana, Jania, Levance, Jabari Jr, Samiyah, Dashanuj, Londyn and Sani. 1 brother; Richard Burton of Kalamazoo, and 1 sister Gail Pharr of New York, NY and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
