Obituary of Richard Peter O'Day

Richard Peter O’Day was born on April 4, 1941 and passed away on February 12, 2018. He is survived by his wife Diane O’Day, his children - Scott O’Day (Ann), Chris Heinen (Scott), Kim Kringle (Tom), Keri Maes (Andy). His grandchildren - Colin O’Day (Rydell), Kealey O’Day, Kenzie O’Day, Aleah Hayes (Jon), Jack Kringle, Gabrianna Kringle, Reagan Kringle, Elisabeth Maes and Daniel Maes. Richard went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday, February 12 at 8:15 am.

Visitation: Whitley Memorial Funeral Home, 330 N. Westnedge, Kalamazoo. Thursday, Feb.15 from 6-8 pm. Funeral: Calvary Bible Church, 855 S. Drake Rd., Kalamazoo. Friday, February 16 at 1 pm.  In lieu of flowers please send donations to “Alternatives of Kalamazoo" (formerly called "Crisis Pregnancy Center"). 

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Alternatives of Kalamazoo.  Remittance envelopes will be available at the funeral.  Checks made out to Alternatives of Kalamazoo can also be mailed to:
