Obituary of Nehemiah Spencer Jr.

Nehemiah {Bubble} Spencer, Jr. 76, passed away of heart complications on Wed October 18, 2017, in Kalamazoo Michigan. He was born Sept 13, 1941, in Starksville Mississippi to the late Nehemiah and Loda Bell Spencer.  He graduated from Warren G.Harding High School where he was a star basketball player.

He attended Central State University majoring in music. He enjoyed playing the saxophone. He was drafted by the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War 1964-65.Nehemiah worked for Republic Steel Co. in Gary Indiana Retiring after 40 years of service. His children include Nehemiah Spencer, III, Sherrie, Mike, Janet, David Spencer all of Chicago, IL., Darrell Spencer, Jennifer Washington of Warren, Ohio; and eight grandchildren.

Nehemiah has nine siblings: George Spencer, Nashville Tenn, Alfred Spencer of Warren, Ohio, Pennell Spencer of Bozeman Mt., Delinda Rogers, Shelia Jones of Columbus, Ohio, Florita Broadus, GaleJohnson of Warren, Ohio, Natalie Scott of Canfield, Michelle Spencer, Akron, Ohio,  Dempsey Spencer, Emmarie Minnifield.  He was preceded in death by Cardell Spencer.
