Obituary of Brian Douglas Reed

Mr. Brian Douglas Reed departed this life on September 23, 2017 at his home.  He is survived by his loving mother Ms. Carol D. Reed, of Plainwell, Michigan. and father Mr. Michael Reed of Grandville, Michigan.  He was born April 7, 1971 in Joliet, Illinois. 

He was employed by Tire Wholesalers, Inc of Troy, Michigan and transported many tires in the area and surround communities.  He loved country music, heavy metal music and many other styles as well.  He loved being outdoors in nature.  He had just skinned his first deer.  Brian addended East Kentwood High School and completed his General Education Diploma while in California.  Mr. Reed was a very happy person and loved weight lifting.  He was fighter and had overcome many issues in his life.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents.  Brian is survived by his parents, and a step-brother, David Reed of Arkansas and a step-sister, Bethany Reed of Grand Rapids, Michigan.  A host of nieces, nephews cousins and very special friends Sarah Sherman, Anna Madry, Jennifer Hahn and Jim Bowen.
A celebration of Brain’s life will be scheduled at a later date.  Please leave a word of comfort for the family.
