Obituary of Inez McClinton
Mrs. Inez McClinton age 91 of Battle Creek, MI, peacefully passed away on Sunday, September 9, 2017 in the comfort of her daughter’s home. She was born April 3, 1926 in Sunflower, Mississippi to the proud parents of Wilson and Flora Ware.
Inez married the love of her life, Walter McClinton, Sr. on March of 1950, and they then moved to Battle Creek, MI. She was employed by Battle Creek Sanitarium Hospital in Housekeeping in 1953
Inez gave her life to the Lord and became a member of Macedonia Baptist Church on June 25, 2017 under the leadership of Timothy Troxler. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, reading her Bible, fishing, traveling, and most of all she loved her family.
Inez is preceded in death by her Mother Flora “Williams” Ware, her father James Wilson Ware; her loving husband Walter McClinton, Sr.; her sisters: Mary Travis, Rosie Ware, and Ruth May Ware; her brother Robert E. Ware; and grandson Terrence Ware.
Inez leaves to forever cherish her memory her family: Bessie Houston, Eugen Ware, Lorrain Ware, Willie Ware, Mary McClinton, Richard McClinton all of Battle Creek, Michigan; Walter McClinton, Jr. on Lansing, Michigan, Bernice Carter, James McClinton, Barbara J. McClinton all of Kalamazoo, Michigan; Betty Alexander, Catherine McClinton, Ricky McClinton, and Dione West all of Battle Creek, Michigan; along with a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Although Inez was departed from this life, she will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and she will be dearly missed.
