Obituary of Brian Maurice Robinson
Brian Maurice Robinson was born on August 13, 1986 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to Trina Henry (mother) and Brian Robinson (father) and rised by Troy Griffis (step-father). He grew up in Kalamazoo, and attended Kalamazoo public schools, and Portage schools. After graduating from high school, Brian attended Kalamazoo Valley Community College, where he was pursuing a degree in Welding. Brian enjoyed drawing, writing music, poems, and life experiences. Reading books and especially the Word of God. Brian loved spending time with his family, his kids and hanging out with his cousins. He enjoyed working out and playing basketball. Brian was interested in every aspect that life had to offer. He enjoyed spiritual quotes and sayings, and often shared them with others. Brian is preceded in death by his grandfather Lawrence Henry, and uncle Theoplois Scott. He is survived by his mother Trina Henry, step-father Troy Griffis, father Brian Robinson his grandmother’s: Mable Henry and Helen Robinson; his son’s: Brian, X’Zavier, and Malichi Robinson; his special friend Samiyah Jones; his brother Marcus Robinson; his sister Charcale Griffis; his aunts: Pamela Scott and her childern, Charmagne Henry, Cynthia Henry and her child, Lysandra Townsell-Mitchell and her children, Bridgett Ozuzu and her children, Daphne Henry and her child; his nieces: Aniyah Robinson, Aaliyah Robinson; his nephews: Trinal Robinson, Marcus Jr. Robinson Levering, Armani Latham Robinson, and Caleb Griffis Thomas; along with a host of other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Although Brian has departed from this life, he will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
