Obituary of Susan Helen Viel

Susan Viel (Powers) entered the arms of the Lord peacefully, surrounded by loved ones, on June 19th. Susie was born June 14, 1956 to Charles and Marjorie (Niles) Powers as their youngest child. She grew up in South Haven and always loved visiting the area especially her family and church. Susie was a devoted mother of 5, her children were the most important part of her life. She made several moves after leaving South Haven including many years in Canada, and settled in Three Rivers where she was closer to all of her children. Her smile and infectious laughter will be deeply missed, but the memories of her wonderful life will be forever cherished. She is survived by her husband Rene Viel, brothers Chuck (Sherry) Powers, Jack (Kristy) Powers and Tom (Donna) Powers. Sons Jim (Elizabeth) Harbison, Bret Harbison (fiancé Regina), Tommy (Vicky) Harbison and daughters Charlie (Steve) Clock and Kathryn (Matthew) Potvin. Grandchildren Ethan, Austin, Zachary, Kyler, Jesse, Lilly, Aaliyah, Parker and Abigail. And great- grandson Ty, along with many beloved cousins, nieces and nephews. There will be a memorial service for friends and family to celebrate Susie's life at Miracle Harvest Church 07520 Blue Star Highway on Tuesday June 27th at 3:00pm. Please plan to stay afterward for food and fellowship.
