Larry Leon Crump passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Kalamazoo, MI. On October 30, 1952, Larry was born to his parents Mary and Andrew Crump, in McKenzie, Tennessee. Larry leaves to cherish his memory, his sister Joyce Givan; son Larry Kenyatta Bell; grandchildren: Kenez, TVonna, Nation, Jayden, and Arianna Braxton. His aunts: Joanne Ryan of Kalamazoo, MI., Josephine (Howard) Tate of Cleveland, Ohio, and Betty King of Kalamazoo, MI; his uncle Sam (Shi) Powe of Lansing, MI; nieces: Tammy (Dan) Marton, Lynn Givan all of Kalamazoo, MI; nephews: Demond (Marsha) Crump of Battle Creek, MI, Eddie Givhan Jr., Shamus Givan, Gregory Givan, Nickolas Givan all of Kalamazoo, MI; his cousins: Jakima Paterson, Clarence Powe, Nicole Powe, Nikkia (Dave) Thompson, Cherry (Cynthia) Powe, William Smith, Karen Calicutt, Robin Williams, Katina (Tarkesh) Veecumsee, Markeisha Smith, Tim Calicutt, Anthony (Andrea) Ryan, Charlie D. Whitley, and Bo (Mary) Whitley; his special friends: Darnelle Shears, Will Dixon, Eddie Givhan, and Harold (Rene) Crowley; along with a host of many more friends and family. He is preceded in death by parents Andrew Crump, Mary Crump; his maternal grandmother Sarah Patterson; his uncle Atha Powe, his aunt Mabelle Calicutt; and his cousin Teresa Powe. Although Larry has departed this life, he will live on in the hearts of all how knew and loved him.
