Obituary of David Dean De Palma
David DePalma, 60, of Kalamazoo. MI (formerly Battle Creek, MI), passed away on September 26, 2021. He was born on July 30, 1961, the son of Bob DePalma and Jeanette (Lee) Hamlin.
David was passionate about riding and fixing his bicycle and motorbike. He enjoyed watching Nascar races. He loved music, too.
David is survived by his dad, Bob DePalma, and his stepmother, Roseann DePalma; five siblings, Rob (Alice) DePalma, Christine (Mark) Kilbourn, Gene DePalma, Kim (Steve) Hoffman, Tammy (Mike) Oswalt; step-brother Ron Hamlin, two step-sisters; and many nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; and great-great nieces/nephew. Additionally, extended family members survive him.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeanette Hamlin; stepfather, Harry Hamlin, and brothers, Rodney and Randy DePalma. Special friends are Donnie and Stacy Ball, Barb Ball, Cody J. Titus, Grandstaffs, and so many more.
David will be buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Comstock MI, nearby his elder brother, Rodney DePalma.
A memorial service to celebrate David's life will be held at a later date.
