Obituary of Todd Chingo Trotman
Mr. Todd Chingo Trotman
We pause today to shed a tear in memory of the one we love so dear. Mr. Todd Chingo (Apple/Sweetie) Trotman departed this life on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Rose Arbor Hospice Care, due to a short illness. Todd was born on April 13, 1967 in Kalamazoo, MI, the son of Mr. Samuel and Bennie Jean Trotman. Todd received his GED from Kalamazoo Public Schools and practiced his God given self-taught skill of actor and stand up comic. Todd confessed his hope in Christ at an early age.
To know Todd was to love Todd! He loved his family and friends freely, he had a great gift of spreading laughter and joy whether it was with song or dance. Todd never held back the gift God blessed him with from a very young age, he was the kind of girl that was very well known throughout the community and the stage of life was never too large when Todd was in the center of it. His passions in life were many: cooking, gardening, playing cards, and a loving care-giver.
Todd was preceded in death by his Father; Samuel Trotman, a brother Rickey Langston, a sister Joella Trotman, and his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Paul (Tap) and Katherine Fry. Maternal grandmother Mrs. Georgann Trotman.
Todd leaves to cherish his precious memories, his mother Mrs. Bennie Jean Trotman, a special daughter Dyannandrea Robinson, 4 brothers Frank and Rodney Trotman of Kalamazoo, MI.
