Obituary of Tabitha Lorraine Curtis

Tabitha’s Life Journey Tabitha Lorraine Curtis departed this life on Thursday, July 29, 2021. On May 25, 1968, in Memphis, Tennessee, Tabitha was born to Gracie and James Curtis. She later moved to Chicago, where she was raised and received her formal education through the Chicago public school system. Tabitha was looking for a change and moved her family to Michigan, searching for a better life for her girls and grandchildren. She decided to further her education and attended Jackson Community College for a degree in Graphic Design. Tabitha loved her family, and she worked hard to provide for them. She worked at Nia, Inc., served at Ponderosa, was a Meijer manager, and worked at various factories. Tabitha loved to cook and watch everyone enjoy the food. She liked to crack jokes, gossip with her mother on the phone. She also enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and seeing her family happy. Tabitha leaves to cherish her memory, her children: Alvin Curtis, Lakeysa Curtis, and Pattrice (Tarrence) Davis; her mother Gracie Curtis; her brothers: James Curtis, Calvin Curtis, Tyrone Curtis, and Quincy Curtis; her grandchildren: Alesia Mathis, Ashantia Curtis, Keontae Curtis, D’alviana Curtis, Alvin Curtis Jr., Da’Naeja Goodwin, Alvion Curtis, Miracle Davis, Deontae Curtis, and My’lynn Davis; her best friends Alisa Curtis. She is preceded in death by her father, James Curtis, maternal and paternal grandparents, her best friend Joan Whisenton, and her one true love. Although Tabitha has departed this life, she will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved
