Obituary of Alec Brent Legg

Alec departed this world on June 24, 2021, at 4:40 pm. He was born on May 2, 1964, in Battle Creek, Michigan, to Emerson and Carolyn Legg. As the son of a stonemason, Alec learned to lay fieldstone at a young age and continued to enjoy the craft throughout his life as a hobby. Attending high school in Quincy, Michigan, Alec excelled in academics and sports, leading to an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy. Graduating from the Air Force Academy with a Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering, his career took him to Las Vegas, Nevada, where he met his wife, Beth. Alec and Beth were married from 1987 until she died in 2004. In 2005, Alec returned to Quincy, Michigan, purchasing a home on the golf course. Alec coached wrestling at Quincy schools and worked in various engineering positions. Alec was a sports fan and followed the Lions, Tigers, Red Wings, and Wolverines. Alec is survived by his sister Cynthia and his brother Travis, numerous nieces, and countless loved friends.
